Maschine Plus internal midi routing

Hi, after few hours of search for a solution I am trying here.
I am trying to send midi from group A to group B and C. on each of them a different instrument. I tried many combinations of midi settings. basically, enabling midi (not the USB in the settings for receiving and sending. on group A setup on midi output to chml 1, on group B and C setup input midi on chnl 1. noting is happening.

The only solution that worked was connecting a cable from the midi out to midi in at the back of the device.

Any idea why internal routing without cable is not working?

    Maschine can only route midi within groups. This isn't a M+ limitation. It's been a complaint since at least maschine 2. You can do loopback with 3rd party software if using a computer. You need a hardware solution for M+

    MIDI Routing Capabilities are another of the long standing feature requests for Maschine.

    Thank you. So I guess the patch that I used is the workaround for now. Connecting a midi cable from midi in to midi out.

    Indeed. It also achieves a bit of a modular flavor.
