[S2mk3] Can you change the default behaviour when pressing the loop encoder?
Hola, it's me again
I don't use beatgrids, nor snap nor quantize and noticed listening to an old reggae song that when pressing the encoder the loop is sightly offbeat.
I also own a FLX4 and there you have the In/Out dedicated loop buttons so if you previously disabled snap you are good to go!
Since i don't ever use them i ended remapping the S23 mk3 FLUX and REVERSE buttons to In/out loop. It works great!
Is it possible to change this behavior when pressing the loop encoder knob?
Thanks,
Nicolás

It's meant to be used with a beatgrid, because the loop size that is set by pressing it has a length in 'beats'.
There is no setting in Preferences that changes this behaviour, so you would have to remap the 'button' yourself, much as you did with the REV/FLX buttons.

What do you want the encoder push function to change to?

i mean to change the default loop "snapping" when using factory mapping on the loop enconder of the s2 mk3, when remapping FLX, and REV buttons, it works as intended. i was just hoping to achieve the same with the factory default mapping
