Kontrol M32 stuck at 'Firmware Update in Progress' screen upon boot

As the title says - It's just stuck there with that message on the LCD display. Doesn't show up as a midi device in the daw. Unplugged/replugged usb etc with shift key held down to no avail. Messed around with updating some native access stuff too, same error. Totally frustrating. Anyone know how to solve? Thanks
