which soundcard for maschine ?U-PHORIA UMC1820 behringer?

i want in the maschine software record vocals ,also hear the music from my pc and record.

i see the U-PHORIA UMC1820.

Is this a good one?

Your Maschine already has a built-in soundcard. You can f.e. cue the audio to your headphones, and record from the microphone into the Maschine.

Think you are assuming they have an MK3 Maschine which they have not stated, could have an MK2 or a Studio or a Micro. Also don't know what OS they are on, tho they mention they want to hear from their PC so assume Windows.

Well the audio interface you list is an option I guess, question would be do you really need that many IO ports for your application? Personally I tend to not consider Behringer interfaces tho I do use their amps and compressors. Their lower range interfaces did not offer dedicated ASIO drivers (instead wanting you to use Asio4All) so that was always a red flag. Reviews on that one seem decent but cannot say for sure what the latency would be like which is the main thing i'd be interested to know.

Look at usb interfaces that provide loopback functionaliy. I've just googeled for it:
