Maschine 3 and Komplete Kontrol S49 Mk2

I recently upgraded Maschine 2 to 3 as well as to Komplete 15 collectors edition. I pulled up a project done on maschine 2 on maschine 3 software. The software is seeing the Komplete Kontrol S49 mk2 (i can start and stop etc) but the keyboard does not trigger any sound. it's as if the old sounds are not loaded to be manipulated but just as a playback of sorts if that makes sense. What do I need to do to get the keyboard working?

    Are you sure you have the keyboard enabled for input in the MIDI section of Machine preferences? That's the most common reason for the keyboard not producing sound.
