Auto Sampling Mode

Greetings, on my Maschine Mk3 (software 3.0.1) whenever I select the auto sampling mode, the start button becomes disabled. It stays on for all other modes, but not for "Auto". The input source does not seem to matter as it remains off for internal or external. I can clearly see and hear input sound (an external synth connected to line in 1+2), so I am guessing pilot error of some kind. What step I am missing…..

Jeremy, 7 days is a long time to wait for an initial response asking for more info! Fortunaely, this was solved in one of the forums. The midi channel for the synth was not correct. I guess if Maschine cannot communicate with the synth, it disables the start.

What's your operating system? Can you share a screenshot of your settings for the auto sampler functions?

@xylemflo I was out of office and getting back to it, also worth noting that even if we try and help users as much as we can, this is not a substitute for support. It seems that no other user could or would help you out, unfortunately.

However, I'm happy that you found a solution to your issue.

Glad you solved it.

Make sure you fill out all the options correctly up to at least Note map. The start button will not turn on unless you have: Mode, Sample, Source, Input, MIDI to (if using external), & Channel (if using external).

The autosampler is a bit glitchy so be sure to save your sounds as you generate them. I have lost sampled instruments by exiting the sound, I come back and all the samples are gone.
