How does Traktor Pro 3 stems work with Traktor Z2 mixer please advice

I am new to using stems and cant seem to get it right I have tried and cant get it to work also watched few videos not the right info given. I need to understand from scratch how to do or work it

    Can you explain a little more about what you are trying to do and what your expectations are?

    The Z2 doesn't have stem functionality out of the box, you would need to map it. This map works well, it lets you use the pads to mute stems: https://maps.djtechtools.com/mappings/13545

    I want to use it in mixes .

    I used the mappings works perfect with more searching I found Nuo Stems so I can convert files to stems files and then use it in Traktor Pro 3.

    The mapping the pads are purple would be great to be able to have different colours. And be able to learn to do mapping
