Kontakt7 Multiple outputs in Studio One Fix

I have a solution to your problem... and the problems of many other people! This is a solution with the addition of channels in S1

  1. You need to open a clean Kontakt and open the "Outputs" panel -> click on the PLUS button to add channels near the "Outputs" label on the Output panel.
  2. Next, in the "Quantity" field, specify the desired channel value (for e.g. 16)
  3. Leave the "Number of channels" value at 2
  4. "Host Output" select KT St.1 [1]
  5. "Delete existing channels before creating new ones" check the box
  6. Click OK
    Congratulations, you've created additional channels!
    BUT THAT'S NOT ALL...
  7. Click the "Presets/Batch Configuration" button and save the preset just in case.
  8. Just in case, save the multi preset in Kontakt "Files" -> "Save as default multi"
  9. Save the preset in Studio One: Click on the sheet icon near the preset selection in the upper toolbar of the tool -> Store as Default Preset
    And that's not all...
  10. Completely delete the track along with the instrument: to do this, click on the track -> Remove Track and Instrumental
  11. Open a new Kontakt and select "Port Setup" in the upper toolbar (it's to the right of the preset selection, it looks something like this - [ |-> ] and select the outputs you need
You can see that you have created new tracks in the mixer.
  12. Add the necessary instruments to Kontakt and assign the necessary Output and Midi Channel to each instrument.
  13. And now you can create duplicate tracks (not complete) with Kontakt -> next, select a different Event Input on each track (1,2,3, etc.)
Now I definitely congratulate you, you did it! Use and discover the endless scope to create a unique sound in your Kontakt. All you had to do was and dig in there for 2.5 hours.
!!!All the points are mandatory, and then the horse will work properly!!!

If someone needs more instructions on this, you can also find other threads here discussing how to do it, and also a video by Presonus itself and a support article from NI.
