Another iZotope problem: Free Ozone imager

I got a free Ozone Imager when buying Vocal Synth. I could authorise it, but only on the computer, never got a chance to put the auth on iLok. But worse, the install just does not work. The file you download to install does nothing. What now?

Logic Pro 11.1.2, macOS Sonoma 14.7.2, Mac mini M2 Pro, 32 GB, 1 TB, 12 cores, 19 GPU cores

I would just download it from iZotope website, It's a free download. I've had version 1 and 2 and never had any issues installing them. In terms of iLok you don't have to authorise any iZotope products with iLok anymore although you still have the option too, personally I try to avoid iLok as much as possible but it's a personal choice.

What file you download ? If the Vocal Synth is from native-instruments.com then you need to download and use latest version of Native Access for your OS , if the Vocal Synth is from the izotope.com site then you need to download and use the iZotope Product Portal.

Else you also need to do all the Mac users must do when using N.I. software ? :

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)

Also then do not use Clean My Mac.

And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network

Thanks for your response PoorFellow.

It concerns Ozone Imager not VocalSynth.

The installer is the one available on iZotope product portal, I do not see it available anywhere else.

The download is seemingly normal .dmg file and when you click it, it flashes and does nothing.

Jamie, that worked! The reason it did not work from the item in product portal is that that is the old and incorrect version 1 whereas on the site is the correct version 2.1!

Great, glad you got it working. They updated Ozone imager to version 2 a few years back when Ozone 9 was released. I notice I have both version 1 and 2 in iZotope product portal but haven't used version 1 since they updated.
