S4MK1 and Traktor Pro 4 compatibility and Windows 10/11

I read somewhere that S4 MK1 has special Traktor software, granted it was an old article.

I'm looking to buy a used S4 as backup, but to be sure it is not obsolete in any way.

Does S4MK1 work with Traktor Pro4 on both a Windows 10 and Windows 11 laptop? And will stems work on an S4MK1? Thanks.

    According to several posts here in the community S4 Mk1 should work with Traktor Pro 4 and Windows 11. But S4 Mk1 has no official support on Windows 11 anymore. As long as it works great but if any Windows upgrade breaks something you cannot expect that NI will fix this!

    I would strongly recommend to get at least a S4 Mk2 if you need it to work on Windows 11.
