I downloaded RX 8 through the product portal but Logic Pro doesn't find it

Hi…. I used Izotope RX 6 elements for years on my old Mac Pro. I recently bought a new Mac Air and downloaded RX 6 elements , since it's available for download and I had already purchased it. But it doesn't show up. The product portal says RX 6 is authorized to the computer, I click on install, it installs, says "updating data." and then returns to the My Products screen. Yet Logic Pro doesn't show it under Audio FX.

Curiously, when I download RX elements 11, trial version, Logic Pro sees it, but not RX elements 6. Have you any suggestions how to get Logic Pro to recognize RX 6?

Thanks for sharing your experience and wisdom…Malcolm

Assuming your new Mac is running Apple Silicon natively and Sequoia - I will bet this is simply a case of non-support.

RX6 is ancient (2017) - from a time well before the advent of Apple Silicon.

Does not surprise me that is it not working if it cannot actually run.

RX6 doesn't even get listed on the Mac compatibility list after Mojave so chances of it working are probably hovering around zero. You can check the compatibility list here -

    Vocalpoint and mykejb….

What you say makes sense. I thought that I might not have to pay for an upgrade. Oh well, thank you for responding and helping and clearing things up.
