On Discovering Mikro 2 not supported after maschine 3 upgrade
What can I say,its not obvious during the upgrade process that it's not supported until you boot the software!
Obviously my opinion won't change NI's decision but it seems like another mountain of redundant hardware unnecessarily enters landfill .
Its only a usb controller - not a complex cpu with complex needs so why it couldn't have been supported is a mystery to me :-(
will I be rushing out to buy a replacement?
hmm …

It does say on the product pages that the hardware support is only the MK3 controllers along with Jam/Studio. Don't really know why the MK2 couldn't be supported but might be to allow better future development without having to work with older controllers all the time.

No need for the landfill either, as you can carry on using Maschine 2.
