Traktor keeps crashing, losing library and playlists over and over

I'm trying to have it simply run off a music library stored in an SDXC card which is inserted into my laptop. Why is this so difficult? like half of the time when I open traktor it throws an error and doesn't load the library and deletes all of its playlists.
