Installing 3rd party Kontakt

Hi Folks

I downloaded FractureSounds Blueprint Drum Kit.

I received a serial number.
I opened Native Access, was logged in.
I clicked Add Serial number. Added it and the software Blueprint showed up.
I checked my file path- same as usual for all my other dowloads for Native Access- everything is perfect- nothing has changed. All my other software from NI is working.
But I keep getting this error "Download failed: review your download location" - which I did and it's all perfect.
Anyone else ever have this error?

I downloaded FractureSounds Blueprint Drum Kit.

    I received a serial number.

I clicked Add Serial number. Added it and the software Blueprint showed up.

I were not able to find any installation instructions from Fracture Sounds on-line ,

but to me it looks as if they way that it needs to be installed is that you download the Blueprint Drum Kit as you have already done and then unzip as necessary and then either install or copy/move to where you want it. Then add serial in N.A. as you have already done and then use the three little dots down right of product in N.A. and the point to correct location using the Locate.

Check out the Setting Up a Third-Party Kontakt Library help page.

Also be sure to be using latest version of Native Access for your OS

Else if problem persists then give all relevant information including exact OS version , N.A. version , Kontakt version.

Checking the site, what I understand is that the download and installation should be done with the file they provide you by email and NA should only take care of the activation.

But it seems NA says the problem is the download itself.

In the support page you can find many articles on download issues (amazing how many different messages NA can give you for this… “check internet connection, could not create new file, could not write to temp directory, there can be issues,…”).

Check if you find the right one for you:

    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/search?utf8=✓&query=Download+failed

The first thing I would check is if the location you chose has enough free space

Thanks folks. It all worked the next day in Native Access. Don't know what was wrong the first day but it magically worked the next day.

It’s the magic world of NA ☺️
