All I did was try to add Phasis as an effect on DaVinci Resolve Studio (in the Fairlight page) and it totally crashed and shut down the entire DaVinci Resolve Studio App.

What's your operating system? Is it a Silicon Mac or Intel?

Sorry I don't have this software to check. What plug-in format does it use? AU, VST3, both?

    Can you share crashlogs?

    1. Press COMMAND + SPACE
    2. Type Console
    3. Then you see this
    1. Then you can right-click the Crashlog and click on SHOW in FINDER.
    2. Then zip the file and attach it to your post.

The plugin Phasis (Version 1.3.3) was added to Fairlight (Audio page of DaVinci Resolve Studio) as an AU plugin.

I could not find any crashlogs before 10 Jan 2025. I did not see any Crash Reports for ScanApp3 but it’s important to note that I was not using Komplete Kontrol within DR Studio. So Today I attempted to add Komplete Kontrol (Ver 3.3.4) as an Instrument in Fairlight (Audio page of DaVinci Resolve Studio) and DR (DaVinci Resolve) crashed again. I checked Console for another Crash Report but couldn’t find once again. I’m not particularly bothered as I can use other plugins to achieve what I want.😊

I believe that DaVinci Resolve does use Vst’s (even on a Mac) but I only have the AU version and am highly unlikely to try Vst’s given that the AU plugin format is specifically designed for Mac’s and potentially runs smoother (in theory).
