Old issue still persists on maschine 3

so I have had maschine software for at least 10 years and this still has not been fixed and still occurs on maschine 3. Surprised no one ever mentioned it.

take any sample and drop it into the sampler. Take the slider on the right and move it around and move it all the way to the right again. Now zoom in on the sample. Does it look like the slider goes all the way to the end. No it does not. When I first started using maschine I would hear occasional pops that I could not figure out on sample tracks. I finally started zooming in on the samples and always adjust the right hand side slider zoomed in. Sometimes I’ll just fade out the tracks towards the end of the sample too to make sure the cut occurs with no possible pops.

the reason I had you move the slider on the right was to simulate editing a sample. So you could see the cause of occasional pops that could occur because of where the end of the cut was made.

Reported this on release day of V2, it is not the end slider, it is a mouse out of bounds issue with the sample editor, it also happens with the right hand side of any selections and the end point of the loop too, the sampler is full of little bugs like this, all of which I reported on release day of v2, all of which I was told did not exist, all of which I then proved with videos, these includes but not limited to…

The end slider, selection, loop issues/the mapper envelope issues/the loop bounds selection issues/the absolutely insane CPU leakage when using small samples like single cycles issues etc etc etc.

I would report these issues again, but I have no idea where to report them that anybody will take any notice of at this point.

thanks for the help in understanding and explaining the issue specifically so others can understand. Yea that’s why I mentioned how I resolved the issue in case someone was getting pops they could not figure out where and even if they were able to locate it. To catch it the zoom had to be all the way in. Don’t bother just chop the edge and pick a tiny section of the end and fade it out 2-3 times. I just do that with every sample I import just in case. Thing is audibly they might have fixed it. I wouldn’t know because I’ve been using the fade out method since I discovered it was an issue years ago. But looking into maschine 3 I was disappointed that for sure visually the issue was still there.
