S88 mk3 volume too low
Hello Community,
I bought a Control s88 mk3 and installed the software on my MAC. I just want to relax and make music on my own and warm up again.
Now to my problems:
The overall sound volume is somehow not right, the preview in KO blows my ears off, but when I play the selected instrument there is not much sound.
To make matters worse, I think that the velocity settings are more for hypochondriacs - I tried everything from soft3 to hard3 and didn't notice much, so only marginally.
My good old MIDI monitor says that if I press the full velo button 7F as expected, if I want to reach a 7 or even 7F without this button, it doesn't work at all with the hammer finger only a 7E then I have to hit it really hard (on the keys) is that normal?
Thank you very much for your feedback.

I only use mine in maschine , but I’ve noticed the touch strip controls volume, so maybe adjust that , when fully lit it’s at its loudest

Could be that your preview volume is too loud and your master volume is too silent. Also would help to know is ALL instruments are quiet (volume issue) or if some seem more silent than others such as a piano (signaling possibly velocity as the issue).
Have you checked all your volume settings in KK, preview volume, your computers volume?
How are you determing KK is too quiet, is it simply because the preview sound is much louder than the actual sound? Compared to playing some music in youtube, how much more silent is your KK software and what is the master vcolume level set too (screenshots can help)
