Komplete Kontrol and UADx plugins VST3s

Universal Audio created the VST3 version of some of its effect plugins. It seems that only the DSP based VST2 versions are available in Komplete Kontrol.

Any idea how to access them from Komplete Kontrol? I had tried rescanning my plugins, but it didn't help.

Full VST3 support is long overdue but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. I use an intermediate host within KK - typically PluginGuru's Unify. It has the option to save layered instruments/FX chains (which Kore had like a decade ago) and as a bonus comes with some nice sounding presets. They even have a demo.

Also consider DDMF's metaplugin or New Sonic Art's Freestyle (which has the nicest interface of the bunch), both of which I believe also have demo versions.

As mentioned in many posts already, VST3 support in Maschine or Komplete Kontrol is coming in three waves:

NI plug-ins in VST3 format
NKS VST3 plug-ins like Arturia, U-he, Izotope, etc...
Third party VST3 plug-ins
