Hello, my Traktor S4 Mk3 had been working fine up until the right Jog Wheel started to Stutter/vibrate (rocks back and forth quickly when trying to spin) I have tried a few things but notice that now I cannot adjust tension and jog mode does not work either, however the top of the platter still registers. Its as if something is caught in the magnet drive ( I have tried to bang out debris/ hoover any potential debris to no avail…. NB it worked a couple of times whithin this period but soon reverted back to problem.

Please help as I love this controller and was starting to get well into its potential.

How can I access the platter or diagnose the issue further?

Yes, I've noticed that after adjusting the tension up and down on the platters, There seems to be a sweet spot where it will do it back and forth making an audible sound. I am also suspecting the platters may have something to do with channel Lockup/crashes as well. I'll get feedback at times with the stripe constantly flashing red when the track has finished, and sometimes when I've spun it back and forth in this state to see if it will go, it has locked that deck from touch commands and traktor has to be restarted.

    Thankyou for your reply.

After trying various things and nearly opening up the unit!?

I went into settings and reset my S4 by selecting 'Restore default' in the controller settings and this seems to have sorted it for the time being…

I hope this is resolved now, I'll keep you posted. Thanks again.

Its an odd bug that I've also encountered. When I tried finding a solution I found some posts that suggested it could be to do with having too many custom mappings. I cleared out some custom overmaps for old controllers and it did seem to resolve the issue in the short term. I don't use TT mode too much at the moment, so I'm not sure how permanent this fix is (or why it has to do with mappings for seperate controllers)
