Is it possible to install the A 25 and the A 49 on one computer so that they work together?
I often read that this should not be done. Is that really true?
If you never use both, but only one of them at a time - i.e. switch them on - wouldn't that be a possibility?

Another question: How do you activate or operate the 4 D encoder so that it is possible to go forwards or backwards?

    You already answered that question yourself over here , in the sense that you know already that you will only get into trouble.

    Also quote N.I. Support : "Can I Use More than One Kontrol S-Series MK3 Keyboard Simultaneously?" :

    Using more than one Kontrol S MK3 keyboard simultaneously on the same computer (e.g. Kontrol MK3 and another Kontrol MK3 / MK2 / A or M keyboard) is not supported.

    This can lead to inconsistent communication between your computer and the keyboards and cause a number of instabilities.

    If you want to use two MIDI keyboard controllers simultaneously, it is possible to use a second non-Kontrol MIDI keyboard controller, as this should not interfere with the Kontrol integration.

    Is the installation of the 2nd device already sufficient for the instability?

    That's not how I comprehend it , to me the word use in this case is referring to attaching two Komplete keyboards to the same computer. But this is a matter of interpretation and your 'guess' is as good as mine-

    As a Moderator here I have zero access to technical details that you have not and for more reasons I have not studied the subject. I can imagine that the answer to the question about what problems that you could/would experience might depend on more factors. Also I rather suspect that even if you ask N.I. Komplete Kontrol Support then they will give you general statements the likes of : "This can lead to inconsistent communication between your computer and the keyboards and cause a number of instabilities." rather than them investigating and answering about specific use case where N.I. do not support any of the use cases anyway.
