How do I connect my Behringer TD3 to Traktor S4 MK3?

Hi @ allI

I received a Behringer TD 3 as a Christmas present. Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea, but I thought I'd give it a try.

Can I connect the TD3 directly to the controller? If so, what kind of cable do I need? I also have my 1210 on the controller, is there still space for the TD3?

I also have an audio interface with Komplete Audio 6, but for the time being I would rather use the TD3 "live" in my set-up.

Thank you very much for your help, I still come from the analogue era, I can connect a record player and a mixer :-)

Thanks in advance

Probably a 6.3mm ts to rca cable I would say.

You can connect up to 4 only devices to the s4 mk3. I can't remember right now if they work all at the same time or only 2, but a quick test or look in the manual should help. I think it should work.

Keep in mind this will not sync the bpm if the td3 to traktor.

Also live input through traktor will add a small delay. But you probably also know that because of you record player.

Sending the BPM of the tracks from Traktor via Midiclock is no problem - simply create a virtual device in Traktor and select Midi sync in the settings. This way, external devices follow the BPM of the tracks (select Auto, not Master)
I suspect the Behringen can also receive Midiclock via USB - you just have to select Traktor 4 Virtual output as the receiver.
