Komplete 15

I just purchased Komplete 15 and i am thoroughly confused. Does Komplete include a full version of Kontakt? If so, How do I know if I have it? My DAW still shows Kontakt 7, which I have had for years. Thanks in advance.

    Your screencap is simply of your Apple computer - doesn't say much.

    And yes - all versions of Komplete - starting with Standard - include Kontakt 8 (full).

    But simply buying Komplete does not upgrade anything for you. You will need to log into Native Access (following your purchase of course) and you should see all the new "stuff" that your Komplete bundle has added to your NI acct.

    Then simply install Kontakt 8 and off you go. Both K7 and K8 can co-exist. And also note - if you have a bunch of existing projects using K7 - best to keep that version handy - at least for a short while.

    Installing K8 does not automatically replace existing instances of K7 - unless you have Cubase, Nuendo, ProTools, Logic or Studio One (starting with v7.02) These DAWs have an auto-migration feature which will replace existing K7 instances with K8.
