KORG gadget nks not mapping correctly
Works perfectly in kk standalone but when loading through kk in a daw, then selecting a korg gadget instrument , the knobs control a different parameter than what’s labeled. Everything seems to have shifted — for example if knob 1 is labeled filter cutoff, knob 2 actually controls filter cutoff despite being labeled waveform. Knob 3 actually controls waveform whilst being labeled something else. And so on…
This holds true in logic, fl studio, even maschine (loading from browser, not through kk). Also it’s not the case for other nks instruments (they seem to be mapped fine in kk standalone and as a plugin in a daw). So it does seem like a korg issue, not NI or daw specific. I know this is a NI forum but just thought I’d ask in case anyone ran into something similar while i wait for korg support to answer.
I’m using a s61 mk3 , latest version of mac on a M1 macbook pro, and the latest kk update. I’ve tried uninstalling korg gadget and re-installing, re-scanning plugins, rebooting the laptop throughout.

Prob a question for Korg since their NKS is what is likely the issue, tho from my experience, trying to get a response from Korg is doubtful.

Do you have KK standalone running in Rosetta mode?
Basically any NKS created for the VST2 (which you may be using if in Rosetta) migrates imperfectly to the VST3 version (in Native mode) for Korg products leading to all kinds of mapping errors. Which meant the NKS had to be remade from scratch for the VST3 versions.

That's it. Thanks so much for that info
