Problems with SOULFI DRUMS on Mac M1 Sonoma / Kontakt Player 6- 8

Hi there

I had written in before when I tried to install Kontakt 8 via NA and received a standalone installer ( thanks ). The reason I wanted to install Kontakt 8 was to use the SOULFI Drums library.

No matter what version of Kontakt I try ( 6.8 – 7 – 8.01. all tested ) the UI of the library is completely scrambled and doesn't produce sound.

I use NA 2 latest version. Tried using NA 1, no dice. Tried starting all versions of Kontakt with Rosetta ( per Telethon Audios suggestion ). No effect. Same result.
The developer of the Drum Library now send me your way.

Please help !

Thanks and best
Rory

Is it with Kontakt in your DAW or in standalone?

Have you tried another library? Like one of the free ones? Is it behaving the same?

Please open Kontakt in standalone and choose a coreaudio driver as sound output. A wrong driver can give these scrambled libraries.

    Hi Jeremy
Tried both standalone and Ableton, no change.

Analoge Dreams works great, so do others I tried.
    It's just this one ( Soulfi ).

    Yes, core audio is selected.

I tried deleting and reinstalling the library before you ask me.

    what else could it be?
I included a screenshot of the scrambled UI.

    Thanks & best
    Rory

Maybe gice this a try: https://spitfireaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204908126-Fixing-a-white-Interface-in-Kontakt-Messy-Controls

If that doesn't work out and is only happening with this library I'd recommend to contact their support.

    Hi Jermey,

thx, I tried with no effect ( also this article you send is referring to Kontakt 5 so that process doesn't fully work on newer versions )

    best
