How can I work with Traktor S4 MK2 and new Macbook pro M4? Which program I can use?

Hi I just bought a Macbook pro M4, I have my traktor S4 MK", which progrma may I use to run it? Traktor pro 2, Where I can download?

    Traktor Pro 2 will not work on modern Mac OS.

    But Traktor Pro 4 will. Also works with the s4 mk2.

    Though make sure you have the mk2 and not the mk1. The mk1 will not work any more on modern mac os, no matter what software.

    That means I need to purchase for 104€?

    M4 uprocessor is not mentioned in the SW description:

    • macOS 12, 13, 14, 15 (latest update), iTunes 12 (latest update), Intel Core i5 or Apple M1, M2, M3, 4 GB RAM

    All the m processors are very similar and it should work, probably official compatibility will come with the next update, but it should work now too.

    Yes.

    If you can find someone who sells you an old tp3 license that might also work. But TP3 does not get any updates any more.

    Maybe mixxx supports the s4 mk2. It's free and open source.

    Was in a similar situation last year. Got a MacBook Pro M3 Max. Traktor Pro 3 officially only supported M1 and M2 chip generations. Support for M3 chips was just added with Traktor Pro 4.1. But despite lacking official support Traktor ran flawless on my M3 Mac. I expect it will be exactly the same with M4.

    Yes, this is the best option because version 4 will continue to receive updates as it is the current version!
