Komplete Kontrol and Maschine Integration

Hello, Everyone!

Nice to meet you all. This is my first post. Pardon any ignorance and I appreciate any feedback. I have limited integration between KK and Maschine only when Maschine is standalone. In Ableton it doesn't recognize it at all. Is this part of the "test features" you're allowed to experience in Maschine? I'm wondering if the basic integration is coming back. It would be nice as folks who own both pieces of hardware are the most loyal customers. Thanks!

Yeah, you'll need to download the Scripts from the community to place in your "Program Data" folder [Windows] or "Application Support" folder [Mac]. That will allow Ableton to have full transport functionality via the Komplete Kontrol interface. You'll need to do that before setting up Komplete Kontrol in the Ableton Midi settings. You will need to select "Komplete Kontrol DAW" in your Midi device settings.

You can find them on the Native Instruments "Support" page… Just type "Ableton" in the search field. Same will need to be done with Maschine.

    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406832231441-How-to-Set-Up-a-Kontrol-Keyboard-with-Your-DAW

… Concerning Maschine SW, the only thing you should need to do from the File/Preferences/Midi page is select Komplete Kontrol, it will automatically connect it via "Komplete Kontrol DAW" as soon as you hit the "Play" button.

Let me know if you are continuing to have issues!

Thank you for replying! I have transport control, thankfully. The issue seems to be Maschine as a plugin. When I run it stand-alone, I get the options you posted to allow KK to control Maschine. When I load Maschine as a plugin, in Ableton, those MIDI options completely disappear. Running Maschine stand-alone seems to be the only way KK will recognize anything in Maschine, allow you to tweak parameters, etc. Right now I see a MIDI screen, but I do hear notes if I play them.
