Glitches in TP4 w/S4mk3

I used my new S4mk3 with latest TP4 update (maybe not the one issued on Dec 4? Can’t remember). Some weird glitches experienced occasionally. Not sure if it’s software or hardware based. And it was while using Beatport streaming though that shouldn’t be an issue. Wondering if anyone else has experienced these.

  1. Hotcue use occasionally alters other decks so it warps/skips on a playing deck while cueing up the incoming. Thought it might be tied to quantize somehow but isn’t consistent.
  2. Track listening in browser. Using the S4 play button. One instance where the track wouldn’t stop playing. I normally hold down the play button. Playback stops when released. Is there a toggle feature that I unknowingly activated?
  3. Forward scroll in the deck - rotary knob to move quickly through the track. Moving forward became non functional on several tracks. Prevented from being able to set cue points in advance from the controller. Backward scroll continued to work, just not fwd.

    1. Tempo SYNC or Beat SYNC in use?

    2. PLAY and CUE buttons of the S4MK3 have 'difficult' contacts, my only gripe with the hardware, really.

    2. To be clear, it’s the small PREVIEW play button to control the browser at the top right of each deck.
    3. Yes, very strange.

    1. Either you have to use QUANT, or TEMPO SYNC. Otherwise you get automatic phase correction on the decks that are not MASTER deck.
    2. Unless you are using a qml mod that has changed the basic functionality, this shouldn't happen. If it does, tap the preview button once more.
    3. Make sure that no LOOP is active. Once a LOOP is active, the MOVE encoder only moves the LOOP if the needle sits outside the LOOP.
