I was wondering if I could use prime bass in the kontakt 8 sampler and if so how do I do it thank you.

Yes, only Kontakt 8 Player is needed to run this library. You can install it as well as the library with Native Access: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/

Once both are installed you'll find all your presets in Kontakt.
