Trying to move FM8 registration from one ancient Mac to another ancient Mac

Greetings,

Many years ago I bought the FM8 VI plugin and installed it on a 2008 Mac Pro running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. That Mac has finally bitten the dust, and I've had to move all the drives and cards to another, identical Mac. Now I'm trying to move the FM8 registration, but NI's methods for doing so require much newer hardware and OS. So I'm at a dead end.

And yes, the obvious answer would be "hey, get with the modern world, dude!" (and I do have other, much newer Macs, but they're not my production machines). Updating/replacing the myriad apps and pieces of hardware in my system is not feasible right now.

I navigated through the AI bot in Support Chat and finally got to "Currently, there is no agent available. We have created a ticket for you and will get back to you as soon as possible via email." So we'll see if they contact me.

Meanwhile… does anyone have ANY ideas about how I can regain use of this software that I paid good money for?
