Komplete Kontrol not working properly

Hey everybody,

My Komplete Kontrol has stopped working properly…the keyboard itself works, in that I can actually record in Logic, but all the other "kontrol" features are out, so I'm unable to navigate, play, stop, loop, move the playhead, and everything that makes this midi controller cool. Any ideas on how to fix this?

OS Version? Komplete Kontrol version? Keyboard version? Logic Version?

Had it ever worked before? Recent updates, changes etc?

OS: 15.1

Keyboard:KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 MK2 HW

Komplete: 3.3.3

Logic: 10.7.2

I've worked with it for a couple of years now, and this is the 2nd, 3rd time happening. They're all up to date -it did it before the updates as well.

Not a Mac user but can you check if the NI Hardware Connection service is installed and running?

Finally do remember that none of the Ni products you are running (Komplete Kontrol etc) are officially supported under Sequoia (yet)

Until fully tested and certified - anything is possible in terms of oddball issues.

You probably need to do this as Sequoia appears to be blocking NIhostintegrationagent unless it is granted Local network access - but first reset your controllers inLogic, then after adding NIhostintegrationagent to Local Network a popup should appear when you start Logic asking to connect your controller

Just a quick note that NIHCS is for MK3. This user is on MK2.

True - but we MKII guys have not one but two similar services running:

Either of which - if compromised - will render the hardware to appear "disconnected"

These are the two that I meant. Sorry for using that MKIII naming convention :)
