I believe the Solid Bus Comp is highly underrated compared to its alternatives, particularly in the emulation of SSL-style compressors. To make it more competitive, consider adding modern features that are now standard in similar plugins. Suggested improvements include:
- Sidechain High-Pass Filter (HPF)
- Lookahead Functionality
- Metering Improvements
- Additional Compression Modes: SSL BUS+ features multiple modes like Low THD for clean compression and High Ratio for aggressive dynamics control.
