how to turn OFF the Pattern player?! help

So.. finally got a new laptop where I can install Traktor 4.

Was playing around with it and found a major problem:

with my Kontrok X1 MK2 i normally use SHIFT+ FX to toggle between SIMGLE or GROUP mode on the FXs… but now it trows that 3rd option "pattern player" and thats completely trowing off my routines! I think i'm swithing to Group mode, and I activate the pattern player!

how to turn it OFF?

How to i NOT see it in the rotation?

It is one extra press basically. Group → Single → Pattern

If you want to create Group → Single → Group scenario then you will need to introduce a modifier (toggle type).

Is it flipping like this now on every X1Mk2 natively, or are you using a custom mapping?

I know it’s one extra press! It’s terrible! When I have so many routines where just use to toggle between 2 options on the fly, it messes up my muscle memory for real. And I can’t use a toggle modifier, because there’s 3 options now, not 2. It can be fixed with mapping and modifiers, but I don’t even know if I have elany modifier left to use, NI only give us 8, and my gear is heavily custom mapped. So… no option to just turn it off? How dumb is this?! A new feature I didn’t asked for, and I can’t turn it off?

My MK2 is heavily customized on mappings. But that’s one mapping I didn’t touch.

Upload you mapping dude - I can look into it and see if there is a room to add that feature, if not we can midi ling global midi button instead of the modifier.
