KK S61 question, splits/layers by key range and/or velocity

hi guys.

I plan to get this thing.

I understand that on the keyboard itself, I can switch tracks, but only the tracks on Komplete program, not the host DAW right ? DAW I am using is Reaper

so, the real question is, I can split keys by key range and/or velocity in Reaper DAW ala Korg Combi mode. so is that one way to do splitting on the KK keyboard ?

There is a Midi assignment editor in Komplete Kontrol that allows you to configure KB splits.

also, there is a Reaper script called ReaKontrol that will allow you to control some functions in Reaper, it is actually pretty robust!
