Need more voices for MIDI keyboard

in Komplete General

I have a Yamaha keyboard 10 voices. It has MIDI in/out and I have proven it works as I've sent MIDI to another keyboard I have and it works. I would like to have many more voices for the keyboard and have Komplete Start software and Komplete Audio 6.

Will this work for what I want to do?

    I'm not sure what you mean here. What model is your keyboard? Some MIDI keyboards can be connected by USB and carry MIDI information. If not, you'll need a MIDI interface, the Komplete Audio 6 does have a MIDI input. The number of voices will depend on the software instrument you're using.

    Thanks… I'm MIDI in/out only on my Yamaha keyboard.

    I have an older copy of Komplete Starter and the Komplete Audio 6

    Was thinking I have all I need, but looking for some advice to ensure it should work.

    Well then you just need a MIDI cable to plug the keyboard to the interface. For our products, even for free like Komplete Start you'll just need to install everything with Native Access: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/specials/native-access-2/

    Thanks. I have one and will try everything soon. Since these were gifted to me as used equipment I hope that I can get access to all the software. I remember in some cases there are transfers of licenses that need to happen.
