Is anyone still using the previous version of the native access app to purchase products ?

My computer is still running Mac OS 10.15 Catalina with kontakt 7 player and I want to purchase the Spotlight Collection instruments (Cuba,India, Middle East, etc), but I’m unsure if I will actually be able to load and run them. Has anyone had any experience with purchasing native instruments using the older version of the native access app?

My understanding is that NAv1 is on it's very last legs and is slated for permanent decommission on Feb 29, 2025.

I would be very careful purchasing anything during Black Friday only to find out you cannot access it using this retired app.

If it were me - I would be checking with NI Sales before making any moves using NAv1

I'm still on 10.14.6 and I've had no issues at all using Native Access original and want to buy some software that will run fine in Kontakt 6.8.0 - it's older software infact from Audio Imperia and everything will run in kontakt 6.8.0 BUT I need Native Access 2 to downlaod and install. NA2 needs OS 12 to install.

So, the software will run fine on the system i have - I decide when i want to upgrade - but i need a much newer OS to install the buggers. A bit bonkers to me.

Well - your OS was retired in November 2021 - and if Apple does not support an OS - no one else can either.

And regardless of what Kontakt "version" this Audio Imperia library will run against - all NI partners must follow the standard installation requirements and use the latest Native Access to deliver their stuff.

Thanks everyone for your feedback, it is much appreciated!
FYI, the NI website spec page said that the product I was interested in, Spotlight Collection, required Kontakt 8 to run, but when I went to actually purchase the instrument bundle, the spec sheet that came up stated that Kontakt 6 was the minimum required.
