Kontakt Player not functioning in Reaper
Up until a couple of days ago, I had been using Kontakt Player with Reaper without issue. Today, when I arm the track for recording, set the track to MIDI (which shows that a signal is being sent), and choose ANY instrument from Kontakt Player, no sound comes out. I changed the port to OMNI and I could hear sound coming from the track, but when I recorded, no MIDI data was transferred to the track. Has anyone run into this problem and how did you solve it?

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem on Reaper without being able to understand its origin. My need is however extremely simple: to play a MIDI file by using a virtual instrument of Kontakt Player. No sound comes out, although the settings seem to be correct.
I have absolutely no such problem with the SoundBridge software.
The problem could be on the Reaper side, but I am not sure.
It seems to be a recurring problem. Native Instruments, have you been able to look into the issue, understand the origin of the problem, or even find a possible solution?
Thanks to you

@dbilem Have you checked the article? Configuring your MIDI Keyboard / Controller in KONTAKT
What is the MIDI channel in this MIDI track? What MIDI channel is your Kontakt instrument? If you play the notes on the keyboard in the window of Kontakt, do you get sound?
