Hi,

I need some help, I'm a beginner. I have Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S3, one Mac Studio M2 Ultra and one pair of Yamaha HS7 MP. I looking for a solution to connect Mac with speakers and Traktor console, also when I'm not using console to use speakers with Mac for audio experience, not speakers built in Apple display, if is possible without switch some cables between console and Mac. I saw on internet some audio interfaces but my knowledge is limited. Maybe someone with some experience can guide me to choose one to cover my needs.

Thanks in advance for any suggestion

So the Traktor is not connected to your Mac and you want it also put the sound to your speakers?

Otherwise it still make no sense to me because if you are using Traktor on the Mac Studio you can still use it if the Traktor app isn’t open, you can just select it in the Mac audio settings if it is switched on.

Sorry but I don’t get it the Traktor Kontrol S3 has a audio interface integrated.

Just connect chinch or xlr to your amplifier….

And you can also use it as audio interface if you are not using Traktor, it acts like a audio interface, just switch it on and you can select it in your Mac settings, so you also don’t need to switch cable.
Also without Traktor you can use the master knob to control the volume.
Maybe that’s what you want to know.

Thanks "Waste", I think it was very unclear my explanation. Monitor speakers HS7 working without problem with Traktor Kontrol S3 through Xlr cables. What I'm looking for, it's a solution to connect HS7 speakers to my Mac Studio, also to connect to Traktor Kontrol. Some hardware which have capability to sustain 2 input ( Traktor and Mac) and one output to Yamaha HS7.

Something like "Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen", but I'm not confident if is suitable for my needs.

    Thanks

"Waste", I think you succeeded to turn on light in my head, sorry for my lack of knowledge about capabilities of Traktor software. Basically If I will buy one audio interface , something like "Focusrite", I can use for audio output from Mac to my HS7 and when I connect Traktor to Mac, I can canalize audio output from Traktor software though audio interface connected to Mac. I'm right ?

    Thanks in advance

    Yes you are right.

And as i said if you keep your traktor connected you don't have to buy anything.
You can use the integrated traktor audio interface for your mac output and also for the traktor app.

If you want to leave your controller connected you can buy a smaller one to do the same.
