Non Native Access libraries appears under Native Instruments brand on Kontakt 8
When I add non Native Access libraries to Kontakt 8 they appear under Native Instrument's brand.
As an example, I have A LOT of 8dio libraries and they all appear as Native Instruments when I manually add them to Kontakt 8.
How can I add them as a new 8dio brand?
Also - is there a way to add custom artwork etc for my Komplete Kontrol MK3?

Hello,
I don't know about your 8dio libraries, but yes, it is possible to add custom artwork.
You can do it in the same way as you do it for any NKS compatible instrument. But you should know that they will still appears under Native Instruments

Ah - that's a bummer - I was more annoyed about the Native Instruments brand thing than the image.
"You can do it in the same way as you do it for any NKS compatible instrument" - what are the instructions for that?

Yeah it's annoying but this is a symptom of a much larger issue I have raised a couple of times before, which is that there is no way to edit metadata (such as Vendor name) or even tag imported instruments as they are marked as read only and that seems to be impossible to change even if you go into permissions to change their folder settings. So while in practice I tend to ignore vendor anyway and prefer to search for sounds using tags, I can't even do that with imported libraries The system that was introduced in K7 is a poorly thought through kludge basically.

You just need the bit that refers to where images go - ie thumbnail called MST_artwork.png in /user/shared/NI resources/images/library name
165x100 @72dpi
