correct installation of Traktor Pro 4 after purchase of new S$

Hi, I'm new to this community. Last Week I recieved my brandnew Traktor S4 mk3.

Tried to install Traktor Pro 4 in Native Access, but forgot to register my new device prior to that. Yeah, stupid, I know…

Anyway, now Pro 4 can't be registered, and iI get the message "activating failed, you are missing the base product…"

Native Access has both hardware and software recognized but only the hardware is "registered" now. (I blacked out the serialnumbers myself here.)

Seems hard to find a solution. Anyone?…

    I have checked your account and solved this issue for you, please refresh Native Access and try to download Pro 4.

    Hi, thanks, but everything is still the same. The only difference seems the fact that both S4 and Pro 4 are

    "registered" now. See attachment. I have no possibility of downloading Pro 4 via Native Access, only direct from the site. When I fill in the Pro4 serial number (same number like before) in the register tab it gives the message "activating failed, you are missing the base product…" again…

    Hey!

    This issue might be because you are using an older version of Native Access.

    Do you have 3.14.0?

    What does Native Access show if you change from Installed to Available tab? And are you sure you are using the same Native ID on website and in Native Access?

    It is also worth a try to get Traktor Pro 4 demo installer and trying to activate that as full version with Native Access after installation.

    Thanks, the only available software on the tab is Kontakt 8 player. The Native ID I use is the same, regardless if I log-in via website or directly via Native Access.

    However I am not sure if the password in the settings in my Native Instruments account are the same.

    I cannot change or view the paasword here it seems. "connected through SSO" whatever that means…

    As mentioned above I think you are not logged in with the correct email address in Native Access. Make sure you are using the same Native ID.

    If you are sure is the same email address and the products are still not appearing, please follow the steps below.

    Close NA

    Delete the Native Access.xml in the following location, restart your computer and open NA

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center

    Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > Service Center

    Repeat until the missing products reappear/the products in demo recognise their activation again.

    Ok, so I checked the logo-in emailaddress and password, used when loggin into the NI-website or when I open NA. They are identical. After that I did what you asked me to 5 times in row incl. an in between upgrading to NA 3.16.00

    On the NI site I find both serialnumbers for S4 and TP 4 stated as "registered"

    When try to add the serialnumber for the demo version in NA, it gives the "already installed" message.

    Pro 4 still only runs in demo mode so far.

    Both hard- and software still don't appear in NA either.

    Hi, and thanks again. Is it possible for you to create a ticket at Support on this matter. We have already discussed quite a few possibilities, do's and dont's here in this community-thread and I'd like to avoid starting all over again in a new discussion with someone at support. Besides, trying to get in touch with support I got stuck again in a wide array of different questions, possible outcomes etc. After over a week trying to solve the matter that is quite annoying, as you will understand. One simple solution may be: buying another upgrade to Pro4 and recieve a refund after payment.
