Maschine 3.0 wont open while reading VST plugins specifically Sublab
ive just recently updated from Maschine Software 2.0 to 3.0 and i got it to open the first time, however i opened an old MS 2.0 project inside of 3.0 that had sublab vst3 plugins that worked fine in pervious versions however after closing that project and trying to reopen Maschine Software 3.0 it wont load or open while reading sublab vst3 plugins…any advice?

Yes, you can launch Maschine 3, press the ESC key on your computer's keyboard, it should stop the scanning for plug-ins and libraries. Then go in Maschine's preferences and untick this box:

Are you currently able to open Maschine 3 SW or is it getting hung up on the Sublab VST during the scan phase?

On my side it's opening without problems. Project saved in Maschine2, opened in Maschine 3 Sublab (1.1.8 R436 VST 3) working perfectly.
Is it listed as plugin in the Plug in Manager - I have the VST(2) and VST3 version as active?!

@RayLyle I see that you have aM1 Mac, was that old project made in Rosetta mode perhaps? In this case you would also need to run Maschine 3 in Rosetta mode too. How to Open Your DAW Using Rosetta
In case this is not the issue, please try to reset Mashine 3's database:
Reinitialize the Maschine database
- Note: The User Library folder is hidden. See this article for instructions to access hidden macOS folders.
- Search through the Native Instruments folder at this location to find the Maschine 2 or Maschine 3 folder.
- Delete only the Maschine 2 or Maschine 3 folder (depending on your version)

this was helpful! it seemed like it was getting through the plugin scans but it still seems to be getting hung up on "SubLab" again after trying both methods. maybe because its trying to load the project still with sublab how maschine does … is there anything else you can think of by chance?

or is there a way to make it so maschine 3 doesnt try to open the pervious project and open a new one instead?

thank you for the heads up! let me ask you guys…is it taking forever for plugins to scan everytime you load up M3? like besides from the stuff i have been talking about? lol

Scanning should be a one time thing and only occurs when there's changes in your plugin folders.
