Kontakt Black Screen of Death

I've been having this issue where Kontakt (and perhaps occasionally with Komplete Kontrol) where the application kind of freezing on loading and presents what kind of seems like a pop-up window without any prompts loading on it. Just an empty black screen. Unfortunately I don't know how to get rid of it and can't edit any of the parameters of the track, delete the track, or remove Kontakt from the track until quitting Logic. Oh, and I can't just quit Logic I have to use "force quit" and reload the project which is a lot of headache.

I have exactly the same issue! Happens multiple times a day, seemingly random and with random sample libraries.

Both in Kontakt 7.10.7 and unfortunately also in Kontakt 8.1

I have been having the same issue. I downgraded to version 6 and everything works fine, except my newer libraries.

I have tried everything I can think of from uninstalling everything and deleting every preference file, cache for Kontakt, Logic and AU related to solve this but in the end I created a new user account and got rid of it. If you find another solution please share for future reference.
