Broadcast feature still not working in Traktor 4.1
I use Traktor's Broadcast feature to send track metadata to Now Playing via localhost. Since I updated to macOS 15, broadcasting no longer works. I was hoping it would be fixed with v4.1, but no.
I believe the problems is due to the new LocalNetwork permission. Now that Traktor is "fully compatible" with macOS 15, has this been addressed, or simply overlooked?

People: stop updating your DJ work computer! you should only do it as last resort if any of your work software commands you to do so!

It appears the issue had to do with Now Playing, rather than Traktor. Just rename the app from "Traktor Pro 4" to simply "Traktor" and it will work. Groovy!

I had mine working before a livestream last week but then something must have changed and it stopped working. My setup is I actually broadcast to a different computer on my home network. On that occasion, my DJ laptop was running macOS 15.1 but my OBS laptop was running Sonoma. I couldn't work out what was wrong and why Traktor broadcast could not see the OBS laptop when I could PING it in Terminal. I checked port settings etc. It worked during a test in the afternoon but not during the livestream itself, even though I had not touched the laptop running Now Playing and OBS. All a bit weird.
When you say "rename the app", which app are you referring to?

Start Now Playing2
Start Traktor 4 open the Broadcast button area.
Then click to open Traktor 3. Traktor 3 will not open but the pop up saying an instance is already running will.
Now click the broadcast button in Traktor 4 and it will work. Simply close the Traktor 3 pop up.
It also works to Start Now Playing2 then Start Traktor 3. Close Traktor 3 and start Traktor 4 then clock the broadcast button.

But Traktor 4 is a nice update! I wouldn't stay with Traktor 3 just to use the Now Playing2 software? But luckily there is a workaround.

Ah, I'm using the old and ultra-lightweight traktor_nowplaying (not "Now Playing 2") which does the same job but seems to be unreliable now. I may have to switch to using Now Playing 2…

No, the Now Playing2 app uses a different name and recognizes Traktor 3 but not Traktor 4. My Windows version has been Windows 11 since release 2 years I think.

I see. You are saying the OP is using Mac OS15 and broadcast is broken with that version. I checked the Discord for Nowplaying2 and there is an issue besides the Traktor 4 naming issue. For Mac Sonoma.
So 2 separate problems!
I didn't see a solution for the Mac problem.
But for Windows renaming Traktor or starting Traktor 3 works.
The developer of Nowplaying2 is working on Nowplaying3.

So you are on Mac Os15 and renaming Nowplaying2 worked! Good to hear. Maybe the OS update wasn't the issue for you.
