Kontakt 8 Player VST not installed - Windows

in Kontakt

I just installed Kontakt 8 player via native access but there is no vst being installed on windows 10 . It does open standalone .

What is the issue ?

    What host are you using? Pretty sure there's no VST2 version of K8, just the VST3 version so check that you have VST3 enabled in your DAW.

    AS pointed out by Mykejb then Kontakt 8 is VST3 only . The Kontakt 8.vst3 ought to be located in the following directory on Windows : "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Kontakt 8.vst3" .

    The VST3 default location shown above is a system path and should never be attempted installed elsewhere by user.

    Same problem, it only opens stand-alone, I cannot find any .dll for Kontakt 8 and Kontakt8 vst3 is not showing

    You won't find a DLL, it'll be called Kontakt 8.vst3 and should be in the path shown in PoorFellow's post above. Can you check that it's installed there?
