I would like to use my Machine Mikro mk1 for the basics. I am fine that special stuff does not work.. but pads, patterns, quantize and pad mode. Come on it is not recognized? :( So sad.
NI made a statement about this in October 2024: https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/37381/ending-software-support-for-some-earlier-generations-of-maschine#latest Maschine mk1 and mk2 controllers are not supported anymore since Maschine3 software. Sorry about bad news, friend!
The good news is that you can use your Maschine Mikro mk1 as a tilt stand for a new/used mk3 controller!
