With the upcoming update, Maschine 3.1, it will also be possible to fully integrate the software into the standalone mode of Maschine+, further expanding its functionality.

Does this mean that the M+ will then have all features of the PC software? Including the features that were previously only available by using Maschine with a PC or is this wishful thinking ?

The thing that bugs me the most, is the fact that I can't map a controller without using a pc…

No, it means that Maschine V3.1 will work on M+ Standalone, (according to them)… the same way Maschine V2 works now. Perhaps you get surprized by a new thing or two by the time the next update (3.1 ?) cames but don't count on it. That website shouldn't even be talking about 3.1 afaik, we just got V3.0 today.

Theres a million things people want, the chances that what you personally value the most happening is pretty much a lottery.

    Ok I see - thanks.
Yes NI gets all kinds of weird feature requests…
I just wish that they would actually hold their promises if they advertise that the Maschine+ can do everything that the software can do (exept plugins ofc).
No hate btw. I love that they continue the project.
