Output Sound from Traktor Audio 6 through USB

Hi,

I just got my hands on a used Traktor Audio 6. My intended use for this device is to channel sound from a turntable into my Mac where I'm running Rekordbox. I have a DDJ Flx4 which doesn't have a phono input. So I was hoping this could be a workaround. I suppose unconventional but I'm just trying out things for fun.

Now my problem is that I can't get any sound on my Mac through the USB connection (it obviously doesn't have cinch ports). Does anybody know if what I'm trying to do is even possible with the Traktor Audio 6? For now I would already be happy to get the sound from my turntables into my Mac somehow - whether it'll work with Rekordbox is a different story I guess.

Thanks in advance!

Erik

Traktor Audio 6 is class compliant therefore it doesn‘t need drivers on macOS. The last driver was for macOS 10.10; I don‘t expect it to even work on macOS 10.15 or newer.

You should get the Traktor Audio 6 control panel (linked on same site). You need this to switch from phono to line levels. In case your Audio 6 is currently set to line levels you cannot record phono levels from your turntable as they are much lower.
