Traktor pro 4 crashed when loading stems track

long time Traktor user here and traktor has not crashed on me over 10 years. This weekend it happened on a club, prime time :(. Loaded pre-stemmed track to a player and traktor just crashed to desktop. Music stopped, people screaming and me tried to turn into a pumpkin. Took time to start the program again and start the track. After that i am not sure when i am brave enough to try stems again. Hows Your experience with t4 and stems?

Played three nights in a row this week including a 5-hour set last night with a fair number of stems. No issues.

There was indeed an issue with Traktor 4.0 crashing when loading a STEM track with a “display controller” (S8 and later). This may have been fixed in 4.1:

FIXED Display controllers crashing when loading stems
Loading the stem version of an playing track into the same deck no longer causes display controllers connected to Traktor to crash.
