Komplete Kontrol 3.3.3 Update Led to permanent "Waiting for product scan..." Message

When I tried to boot up an Ableton project with Komplete Kontrol in it, Ableton was stuck loading. When I checked Komplete Kontrol, it was stuck on the message "Waiting for product scan…", so I decided to update to 3.3.3. Nothing has changed. Does anyone know what to do?

I've had this message multiple times before and am tired of troubleshooting it.

Try Resetting the Komplete Kontrol Database (Komplete Kontrol Error Message:"Loading Issue - Plug-In not found. Please open the standaloneapplication...")

Also then in Ableton Live then try Deep-rescan all installed plug-ins. To start a deep rescan, hold ALT/Option and click"Rescan."

What is your operating system. There has to be a folder in the locations defined by the article, pay attention to the exact location, for example on Mac, it's the user library and not the local one.

What happens if you open Komplete Kontrol in standalone? Does everything work as expected?

There was no Komplete Kontrol folder in the Native Instruments folder, so I just deleted the Native Instruments folder. I loaded Native Access, then Komplete Kontrol, and I'm still having the problem.

I just deleted the Native Instruments folder

Deleting the whole folder might introduce other issues though not sure.

Jeremy was right! (I use windows) Because I got to appdata the wrong way, I accidentally went into roaming instead of local. After deleting the right materials, it's working now. Thank you very much!
