Host Integration causing dictation on mac without being enabled, some buttons dysfunctional s88 mk2

Heya folks,

I'm going to try and explain this problem to the best of my ability since I haven't been able to find it anywhere else online:

To preface, I run my KOMPLETE S88 through ableton via komplete kontrol for live gigs and such. I've been doing this for a while on windows, which was working totally without issue, but upgraded to a refurbished mac about 6 or so months ago since my PC is getting to that point.

Since moving over to mac I have been having issues getting the hardware to integrate properly. Hitting certain buttons on the s88, such as instance selection (even when software is not running) is causing the dictation function within the mac to activate. when software is running, this also happens with the plgugin and browser buttons, as well as any parameter knobs that change eq amounts and whatnot. I ran soundsource just to be certain that it wasn't a problem with the mac and it is indeed coming from NIHostIntegration. I've updated Komplete to no avail and the hardware is completely updated on the s88 by all accounts, so I honestly have no clue what the next step would be. I do have to connect to the new usbc hubs that mac sports with an adapter, and i thought that was the problem but I'm having the same issues with multiple brands of adapter, so i figured that wasn't the cause.

On top of this, sometimes the the browse, plugin and mixer buttons completely deactivate themselves after exiting out of the window view, and Komplete Kontrol has trouble recognizing Native plugins.

Debating sending the mac back at this point since nothing is really working and it's affecting the way i play during gigs, but wanted to see if there might be any other possible solution since it would put me out of commission for a few weeks.

Appreciate any help or advice at all, thanks everybody!

Is this happening in Komplete Kontrol in standalone? In a DAW? Ableton? Both? Do they both have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

Can you give more details about this? "I ran soundsource just to be certain that it wasn't a problem with the mac and it is indeed coming from NIHostIntegration."

Full disk Access is enabled for ableton, Komplete Kontrol and NKTDaemon, double-checked just to be sure, and it is happening in both the DAW and Komplete Kontrol standalone.

To try and elaborate, I used Soundsource to try and pinpoint where the dictation was coming from, and it said that the source of the audio was coming form NIHostintegration. to clarify, the dictation is speaking exactly what parameter knob I am using and what percent it is in effect, or whether it is on or off. I wish I knew how to dig into the software itself to see what is triggering it exactly, but unfortunately thats where I'm roadblocked for now.

One last thing, it is also happening when none of th software is open and I just have the keyboard plugged in and am pressing the instance button. The dictation just keeps saying "Instance select, no instance selected."

Well, there's a certain combination of buttons for the accessibility to be turned on and off, depending on your keyboard's model: How to Activate the Komplete Kontrol Accessibility Features
