    Unfortunately - yes.

When you start seeing NI products appear here:

macOS 15 Sequoia Compatibility Statement – Native Instruments

Things are beginning to move forward.

Until then…you are taking chances installing into Sequoia.

With Sonoma - it took 4+ months. Some products are still not certified under that OS.

    Could be a while.

Might need to get NI support involved but not sure if NI will assist on an unsupported OS.

    Good luck.

Hey there, even though Sequoia is not offcially supported there were no reports yet of major issues. @Pianovasano Can you describe what is happening exactly?

    thanks for your answer !

Logic bugs every time.. I think it’s comes mainly from a conflict between my keyboard Komplete Kontrol s61 mk3 ( just bought 2 weeks ago) and logic

I think it’s a problem in the midi.!!

And also Komplete 15 itself and Logic

Ok but what are the symptoms? What happens exactly? How does Logic "bug"? Please describe step by step.

    1. For the keyboard.
    2. For Komplete 15 (it's only a bundle of products) please be more specific.

You are the developers!!! Why you let the customers buy it without inform them in advance?

DO all of your test with a Mac and macOS sequoia and I wait you to let me know when it will be compatible !!

I have contacted Apple… they have an excellent helpdesk ! I don't have the same service with NI Why?

    Inform them in advance?

If you are an Apple user - forgive me - but you have been informed "in advance" about what happens the first week of every September of every year - like forever.

Please do not try to paint every annual MacOS version as something the entire software world should fully support on Day 1 of it's release - that is impossible.

The only company that fully supports Sequoia right now - is Apple.

NIs catalog is huge and it takes time to test everything. They will let you know when they are done - here

    They did

    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/13671802084765-macOS-15-Sequoia-Compatibility-Statement

but most experienced Mac users are fully aware not to update as soon as the new MacOs version comes out (unless you have no choice such as buying a new laptop)

"unless you have no choice such as buying a new laptop"

Actually - you still have all the choice in the world. Buy your new laptop when the OS IS supported and not before.

This scenario has never really made any sense to me.

If I were a Mac user and I decide to pull the trigger on a new device on Day 1 of the release of a new MacOS - it is on me to deal with the fact that the software world (will most likely) not be ready for this thing I just bought.

That is called doing my pre-purchase homework.

    That is unfortunate.

However - it is not the responsibility of any vendor to hold our hands and gently walk us around the technical complexities of using a computer here in 2024 (regardless of the type) - to create music.

We all need to invest some time and try our very best to stay on top of what's new, what's supported and so on - all with the end goal of avoiding trouble.

When I build a new DAW - here in Windows - which can usually handle the worst compatibility issues I ever come across - it is still a three month pre-investigation to ensure everything I buy (like computer parts) to every piece of software I intend to use - is fully supported on the OS I am selecting well BEFORE I actually build the machine and install the software.

Failure to do this or worse - making any assumptions that things "will just work" is simply poor planning on my part and usually does not end well.

While I use my DAW for professional work and cannot really afford any down time - I believe this "planning" window is the real reason I enjoy stable operation and generally avoid ALL hassles - whether it be with my NI stuff or any other vendor products. It is time well spent.
